The Shine Studio

Our first process and creative arts space located in The Hamptons, NY – where creativity, art, and exploration will be at the center of everything we do.

Shine’s custom, signature classes and workshops for children, previously only presented in pop-up fashion, are now available at The Shine Studio. Featuring three large studios, an indoor and outdoor cafe area, gardens, an outdoor play space that includes a classroom and stage, and direct access to the Long Pond Greenbelt trails, the possibilities for this amazing new space are endless.

Winter Semester

Monday January 26th – Friday, March 27th, 2026

(No classes the week of February 16th)

Open Studio: Crafternoons (ages 4-11 years)
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 3:00-5:30pm

Come to the Studio and independently work on projects with Shine staff guidance for up to two hours. From friendship pins to dried flower arrangements or creating original pieces, there’s something to spark everyone’s creativity.

Shine in The Kitchen (ages 4-6 years)

Tuesdays 3:45pm-5:00pm

From cooking projects to kitchen science, food art to food books, this in-studio cooking class is for budding gourmets who enjoy the culinary arts in all its forms.

Mini-Makers (ages walking – 3 years, caregiver required)
Thursdays, 4:00-4:45pm

Your littlest maker’s first time to SHINE! In this class, toddlers investigate and learn through inspired art and sensory experiences. This is the best, most creative messy playdate you’ll ever have, and the best part: clean up is on us!

Weekend Camp (ages 3-11 years)
Half Day, 10:00am-12:00pm or 12:30-2:30pm; Full Day, 10:00am-2:30pm

Why limit Shine Camp to summer? Experience the same beloved activities at Weekend Camp! Arts, crafts, music & movement, gardening, outdoor play, local specialists, and more! Options include full-day, morning, or afternoon sessions. Don’t forget to pack lunch for full-day campers.

Private and Semi-Private Hip-Hop

Classes are available upon request with one of the best instructors on Long Island. Contact us for more info or to set up a class.

Create Your Own Shine Classes and Workshops

Gather a group of friends and set up a private class at a day and time that works best for YOU! Develop a new class idea or pick from one of our signature classes. Each class will be tailored to your schedule and meet weekly, biweekly, or even once a month as a workshop. Classes are led by our dynamic Shine Educators (spots with founder Aaron Goldschmidt are limited) and include all materials, set up, and clean up! (Minimum of 4 kids required to run class.)

Coming to the Studio for a class and want to add up to an hour of extra time to enjoy the facilities? Let us know and we can add an hour before or after your class!

Little Makers (ages 3-5 years, drop-off)

This next level process art class gives preschool aged children an opportunity to work with new materials and real tools and explore their unique creative interests. It encourages imagination, new ideas, and provides children with the opportunity to express those ideas in a safe, nurturing environment.

Studio Makers (ages 6-9 years, drop-off)

Our most advanced process art class, young artists get to build on the skills they already have and explore more challenging materials and processes. As their physical skills catch up with their imagination, we allow the to follow their interests independently. We will go deeper into artists studies as well, learning about the work of established artists and finding inspiration in their approach to art making.

Join us for School Break Shine Camp and enjoy all the innovative and creative activities you love from our popular summer camp. Activities may include: music and movement, signature Shine craft projects, visits from performing and visual art specialists, gardening, outdoor play, and more! Choose from a full day session, morning, or afternoon sessions with the option to stay for lunch. *For full day campers only: Families must provide a packed lunch.*

Adam Baranello’s The Lost Works Adult Workshop
Thursday, March 26th, 2026

6:30 – 8:30 pm

In a special workshop led by the artist himself, adult participants will view Adam Baranello’s The Lost Works exhibit and create their own original artworks in response. Light bites and drinks will be served.

Earth Day at Bridge Gardens
Saturday, April 25th, 2026

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join your friends from The Shine Studio and Peconic Land Trust for a special Earth Day event at Bridge Gardens. Come decorate a birdhouse with up-cycled and natural materials. Once completed, participants are encouraged to hang their work of art for display on the Wisteria Arbor. Snacks will be served and guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens.

Our Guest Artist Programs and Collaborations

Need some space to run a class or hold a workshop? Have a fitness or dance class for our state-of-the art movement studio? Looking to collaborate with us in order to promote your brand? The Shine Studio is creative space that welcomes like minded artists, dancers, fitness instructors, and other members of the artistic community to share space, ideas, events, and community.

Our New Building

Located in Bridgehampton, NY, The Shine Studio offers outdoor and indoor spaces for a wide range of our signature activities. The space was renovated by a team of craftsmen from Benenaula Construction, a Hamptons local construction company, who worked with us on every detail to make our space inviting, functional, beautiful, and modern. It is truly a dream come true and we can’t wait to have you!

Last but certainly not least, we have to say a huge ‘thank you’ to UUCSF for hosting us and providing such a wonderful space for our programming. We can’t stop thinking of the endless possibilities to come from this new collaboration.
